What is the statute of limitations on a divorce settlement ?
Answer
I fraud, or if property was not listed and divided in the decree and it can be shown that complete discovery was served and that the property in question was withheld from the other side's knowledge, there may not be any limitations.
You will need to bring the decree order and the settlement at issue to a qualified litigation attorney (one who also practices in divorce law) and they can advise you further.
If it is child custody issue, those orders can usually be modified so long as the child is still considered to be a minor.
