My husband and I do not get along at all. I have a bankruptcy case and cannot file for divorce. My husband is belligerent to our 2 children (16yrs, 19yrs). I own the house we live in. If i file for a restraining order can i force him to move out?
Answer
If you can present enough evidence that he is a threat to you and/or your children you can get an order which would also remove him from the house. But you should also go to a divorce attorney to see if you can afford to file for divorce; do you really want to live with him?
