ok so a friend of mine was the power of attorney over his sister. The eldest son went to the hospital and has changed the phone password and told the hospital staff they are no longer allowed to see her what can we do.... also the brother has been the one taking care of her and also the one she lives with???

Was the son who made the changes the son of the sister who holds the power of attorney?

If he is then you can ask the Court to remove the power of attorney on the basis that the sister breached her duty by allowing her son to make the changes.

The fact that the brother takes care of and has the patient living with him does not effect the power of attorney. However, the brother can seek guardianship and note that the patient lives with him and is under his care.
