Question

If I filed for child support in one state and the judge granted me my support is it lawful for my ex to file in another state in an effort to reduce the support assigned by the first judge.

Answer

No, it is not unless somehow jurisdiction (power to hear the case) has

been successfuly established in this second state which supercedes

the jurisdiction of the court to hear the matter in the first (not too likely).
