Collection calls at work
Is there anything an employer can do about collection calls that its employees are getting? The collectors have been told that the employee can't recieve personal phone calls at work and they still call and disrupt the office personal.

Re: Collection calls at work
It is a violation of law for debt collectors to contact an employee who instructs them not to call at work. Further, the collectors cannot solicit information from the employer or its staff, except perhaps when serving a garnishment summons or other pleadings. I would gather the name and agency of each collector that has called and report this to the Minnesota Attorney General's office.
