What is a purchase receipts journal?
This would be the Journal that you would keep which records your purchases. One would assume that it would be related to Cost of Goods Sold. These Journals would probably be found in older Accounting Systems used prior to Computerized Accounting Systems. I have not seen one in use for a long time.
