Answer

are you the grantor or grantee?

John

Answer

If you were the grantee and the property was transferred to you as a tenant in common you would not have to execute the deed. If you had an interest prior to receiving the deed as tenant's in common and were the grantor and were conveying an interest to some one else then you would have to sign.
