My father just recently found out he may have a baby that is about 18 months . in January 2015. He want a DNA test to determine if he is the father. He filed a request to change order at the family court to recognize that he is the alleged father. He thought that was needed to get a DNA test. However we received request back and it was denied because the child has been adopted and finalized and case cannot be opened. I want to know if there is any way to appeal the adoption to determine if my dad is the biological father and if so can we petition for custody.
