Why is Science the lesson so pointless and boring?
The word science comes from the Latin and means 'to know'. So science is concerned with real results and the means by which they are obtained.
Other words with science in them are conscience - 'to know it is wrong'. Prescience - 'to know beforehand'.
Science is a discipline of enquiry, resolution, and forecasting. It does require accurate focused thinking.
In lessons, doing things is the most effective instructional technique, watching things done is the next most effective, and being told is the least effective.
