What steps are taken to record music?
The singer or songwriter usually writes down main ideas for a song, or may already have an idea in their head. Then the lyrics are written down, followed by music to go with the song.If the singer or band is well known, they may have an agent who books a time at a recording studio, where the song is recorded several times until the singer/band/recorder is satisfied.It usually takes a few weeks or up to a month for the song(s) to be transferred onto a CD.
