My 18 year old daughter who is a softball travel team experienced player, is being unfairly treated by the varsity coach due to a vendetta against me, her father. It is painfully obvious to everyone, players and their parents and even other assistant coaches that the coach is holding a personal grudge against my daughter and is humiliating and treating my daughter in an unfair and unfounded manner. Players, past and present, parents and even assistant coaches have noriced and questioned the decisions the coach has made by benching my daughter and starting less qualified and experienced players. I have two younger daughters that will being going to the same high school, starting next year, and I am afraid this coach will continue ruining a childs love of the game because she dislikes me.I can get 100+ letters attesting to the fact that there is obviously a personal problem dictating my daughters playing time, zilch. Do I have any legal recourse. There is obviously more I can add to the story. Coaches from travel, high school and other programs are all questioning the lack of playing time.

I have many questions. As you know, Title IX guarantees equal access to sports programs for girls . However, this situation appears to not be a Title IX issue on its face.
Our firm is committed to advocating for girls' participation and access to sprots opportunities. Please visit our site and send us a confidential email so that we can directly respond to you.
