Question

Guardianship of a grand child was appointed. Child has problems and beat Grandma up bad put in mental hospital and they having problems with him also. State insurance on payment will be up and they want him pick up. He told doctor he did not do a good enough job she is still walking. Does she have to pick him up she is getting the run around. State of Missouri. She is very afraid as he has try to stab her with a knife before.

Answer

Your posting is confusing. It isn't clear what you're asking. If a Guardian is afraid of the protectee (in this case, the grandson) the guardian (Grandma) can resign. She would do so through the same Probate Court that appointed her. If this doesn't answer your question, perhaps you can repost, with a clearer explanation of what has occurred, and what you want to know.

Good luck
