In 1999 my fiance was convicted of felony domestic violence (not against myself), in California. My fiance and myself are moving together and I own a hand gun. Given that he is a convicted felon of a violent crime and is no longer allowed to associate himself with guns, what are my options for being able to keep my gun in our home.

There are no guarantees but it should be locked in a lock box and he should not have a key.
