can I be compensated for wrongful conviction and after the sentence has already been served ??? I am indigent now and was indigent then too. My defense was not handled well during the trial either. I face many discriminations due to the results of this matter, such as unemployment, housing and stereotyped by my family and friends and the affects are etched in both mentally and physically that I feel helpless and more.
