Question

Can a rental lease be stopped the next business day. This is the state of california. Nothing was moved in

Answer

You will have to review the lease to see if there is some sort of grace period that allows you to exit the lease, or some other clause that can allow you to breach without much of a problem. However, there is no state law that requires that the landlord give you a grace period to break a lease once you have enter into the agreement.

However, the first step should be to review the lease agreement. Should you need assitance in reviewing the agreement, feel free to contact me or an attorney in your area.
