I have a huge concern. I received a letter from a "collection agency" called GF Group located at 655 S Main St in Orange CA. Regarding a supposed "debt" that I owe. My main concern here is that they are claiming the creditor is from a bank I have NEVER banked with that now happens to be my employer which but me on the edge. Another thing is that I file BK a year ago, so any debts that I had have all been discharged, making this letter illegal for MANY reasons. Lastly, I attempted to look up this company online and have been unable to find anything on them. The telephone number that is stated on the (very generic) letter goes straight to a voicemail. Any feedback regarding this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Report to the district attorney and your employer. This sounds like a scam using the name of your employer.
