Someone posted my address on their web site. As a result someone else came to my door, and mentioned the poster by name and waved their fist at me. Is this considered stalking on the part of the poster? what should I do?

A single incident like that does not amount to stalking. But if it is part of a pattern of conduct, the conduct overall could qualify. As for what you should do, I would need better information about what happened before I could make any suggestions.
