I signed a lease in 2013 and gave the property manager a security dep of $1600. In 2014 I added my husband to the lease. Since adding him to the lease I have had to leave the residence due to an incident where I now have a permanent injunction against my husband! My husband is now living at our prior residence with his girlfriend and her 3 kids! My husband is going to sign a new lease, tomorrow! where
The property manager is telling me I am NOT entitled to get my security deposit from her company. Is this correct??

Your lease agreement controls. The machinations with regard to your husband should not affect your rights and obligations. Have the lease reviewed by an attorney.
