Recently i purchased a 2005 Holden astra and want to change the engine oil is the sump plug the female torx plug at the end of the sump near the gearbox?
Yes you need a Torx bit to remove the sump plug. Also be careful when you remove the sump plug, there is a O ring on the plug that may fall off.
Oh by the way, alot of Astra bolts use Torx
(Many manufacturers recomend that you replace the sump plug & o ring)
