Question

I rented a tent from a local rental company. When they put the (collapsed) tent in my car, the metal parts on the bottom of the tent significantly scraped up the upholstery on the inside of the car door. How do I go about getting them to pay for the repairs?

Answer

First , write a letter indicating your position and expectation of reparations. If you do not obtain a satisfactory response, initiate an action in the small claims court of where the business is located.
