Lease agreement for my apartment is ending on 1/31/15. I wasn't aware I was moving till 12/20/14. The apartment complex is telling me I own rent for two more month because I needed to give them a 60 day notice before I leave.

Your lease agreement controls with regard to your obligations. Have it reviewed by an attorney.
