Who are Woodside Petroleum's competitors?
woodside is a mid tier, highly profitable oil and primarily gas player. its main competitors are anyone selling LNG. within its region its competitors could include origin energy, santos, arrow, BG (Queensland and Sunshine Gas) and other CSG explorers/producers gearing up for LNG export. BHP could also be considered a competitor however they companies have many JVs together.............BHP is considered the perfect suitor to takeover woodside after the recent sale by Royal dutch shell amounting to 10% of its holdings.....
