Question

Our neighbor's trees hang well over our property line and scrape against our home. They also dump a large quantity of leaves regardless of the season. The neighbor says I can trim them back as long as we don't harm the trees. I think it is their responsibility to trim the tree since I don't want to take responsibility for tree health given the 1994 case of Booska v. Patel. Am I right in saying it's his responsibility to trim his trees?

Answer

No
