my husband and I recently got into a verbal contract with our current home owners daughter. recently found out that she doesn't even own the property that she's trying to sell so my question is how do I go about protecting my investment that I have made in the purchase of this property should I back out now or continue with the agreement that was discussed

Make sure you have proof of all payments (checks, receipts, etc)
