I would recommend that you write a letter to your attorney stating that you have left numerous messages for him that have not been returned (include specific dates if available). Request that he call you immediately and that you expect him to update you on the status of your case. Tell him in the letter that you expect to hear from him within 2 days.

If he doesn't respond to the letter, then you can make a report against him with the Board Professional Conduct.
