Question

My wife has three kids from another marriage, I am in the military and have to move out of state. The father of the kids dont want the kids to leave the state. What do can I do?

Answer

Have her contact a family lawyer asap. She should be the one making inquires.

Answer

Nothing. She needs to talk to a lawyer right away.

Answer

Your wife has to get the ex's written consent or a court order prior to moving

Answer

Pray. The statute ( 61.13001) is not friendly to parents who want to move out of the area. She needs to speak with an attorney immediately.

Answer

I love all the answers that you have gotten. First of all, true she should be doing the inquirying. She will need an Order to Relocate . If it is mandated by your military to move to and/or relocate to another area, then she can use that information to allow the court to relocate her and the children.
