My father is 62 and was diagnosed with dementia recently. He is married to a woman who is not my mother. She recently filed for POA. Yet, my father is concerned about his finances. Can I have the POA revoked? What legal action can I take to prevent her from spending all of his money?
Answer
There may be a question about the validity of the P.O.A. if your father executed it when he was mentally incompetent. Your best course of action is to retain your own attorney to look into this for you. There is nothing that you can do on your own.
