I work in childcare. Can my boss withhold my check because I owe some money on my kids tuition?

You will need to supply more informations, such as to whom you owe the tuition. Did they file a collection case in court and get a judgment against you? If so and they then filed a wage attachment on your boss, he or she would be legally obligated to withhold 25 percent of your take home pay to send to the creditor. If this is just a private deal in which your boss fronted the tuition and you we're supposed to pay them back and fell behind, it would depend upon what the nature of the agreement.
