Question

I sold my motorcycle to a young man in February, i took the plates and he put it on a truck and took it away. I signed the title over to him, private sale, no bill of sale. November 15th I received a call from a farmers collection agent informing me that Danny had an accident in march, had never registered or insured the motorcycle. They are claiming that I am the responsible party and I owe them the amount they had to pay out to their insuree. If i do not pay they are threatening to suspend my license. Danny had even called in and settled, his first payment bounced and it returned to my lap. Can they have my license suspended?

Answer

That sounds really strange. Call me at 732/773/2768 to discuss.
