In the process of adoption, now getting divorced. Can I still complete the adoption on my own?

It depends where you are in the process. A family study and home study involving both spouses, would have to be repeated. An amended Petition would likely need be filed. Of course, missing one parent may create grounds for the biological parents to oppose termination of their rights. Obviously, you have discussed the impending divorce with the attorney representing you in the adoption.
